I'm currently in the process of training loads of people to become Swadian Knights (amazing bastards on horses; makes land battles go much quicker!), Nordic Huscarls (beastly infantry; ideal for storming castles) and Rhodok Sharpshooters (elite crossbowmen who deal ridiculous damage; also great for sieges). It's a lot of effort, but this game never feels like a grind. I myself am a lightly armoured hunter-type character. I do a lot of horseback archery and swordplay. Due to my armour type, I have to stay away from large groups. I leave my heavily armoured knights and infantry to deal with clusters of enemies, whilst I run down any stragglers! This game is amazing. Go get it now please.
That sounds pleasing to me.
Warband and Napoleonic Wars. Napolean is pure multiplayer, whereas Warband has a jolly nice single player campaign in which you amass an army and take over the world. I imagine it will take me several hundred hours. I haven't played Napoleonic Wars yet, as I want to do Warband first. Might jump in a bit later, though.
I've only played a bit of Napoleonic Wars at a friend's house. But it's on the top of my list for when I get money. What expansions should I get? :O
Do you still play? What versions have you played? What character do you usually play? Have you tried multiplayer? WOULD YOU LIKE TO?!
Yes, let's.
Let us talk about Mount and Blade and how wonderful it and its expansions are.
