Thanks No, I've never heard of it before. According to VNDB there seems to be a translation in process although it's been ongoing for several years so who knows when it may be finished.
I think it's great you're reviewing Visual Novels. Good way to stand out too since I don't know too many critics who just specializes in VNs. There was one VN I was always curious about, the Utena game for Sega Saturn that never came out over here. Have you ever played that? I'm not even sure if there's an English translation for it or not.

Oh they are separate. Apart from the inofficial connection between VII and X-2, there's not actually any link between the worlds. Well, Dissidia, I suppose.
Me neither. Not really a fan of all the worlds being connected (which I guess has been the case since X came out and that's how big the rock I live under is) liked it better when they were all their own game.
Yeah, it's a shame since the game is so much fun. ESPECIALLY the International version. I don't consider the VII X-2 connection canon btw, more like a "theory by the writers".
It's starting to smell like FFVII up in here, funny how no one ever talks about that when X-2 comes up. Though it's hard for most (not talking about anyone on here btw) to get past how Charles Angels X-2 feels.
