Then it was just a side effect of them making me an Editor for all of three hours. Goodness. I was enjoying the orange-green colour scheme.
I don't know. Though all of the real finalists who weren't added to staff still have theirs, so I imagine the staff simply hasn't gotten around to removing them.
How did you retain the damn Squire title? I got gifted one and then it was immediately removed.
I made plenty of jokes to the French folks I met on exchange. The most enduring one was the fact that all French people are mimes, and that by talking they were just proving that they were horrible at being French. It seemed to annoy their slight nationalistic sensibilities.
Don't tell Bleys that, or he will barrage you with an inordinate amount of French jokes.
I spend most of my time with my head in the sand because I cannot deal with the heavily flawed politics. Just the other day our likely Prime-Minister-to-be said that public schools are receiving too much funding from the government and it is disadvantaging private schools. I wanted to kill myself right then and there. Statistically his argument is okay -- something like 32 per cent of Australian students are only receiving 24 per cent of government funding allocated to education -- except for the glaring fact that private schools have their own money too. If he gets elected, and given the incompetence of the current government he probably will, I am actually going to move countries. I'll join Quin in France or something.
