  1. Well that's a good change.
  2. Couldn't help but notice your convo with Pumpkin about the P4 ending :

An interesting thing I noticed about Golden is that its additional content actually almost spells out to you what's going to happen, so this time around, it's really obvious that there is one more thing you need to do
  3. I've debated about writing a few guides for Gamefaqs in the past but realized I would be too lazy to ever finish it.

The VS guidelines I wrote was a coincidence, I happened to be playing the game at the time, and I've read a number of faqs to find most of that info. I just happen to have the foresight to realize that no one wants to listen to a guide that is 80% math formulas, so I dumbed it down to something palpable.
  4. Yeah, I probably would never have finished Vagrant Story of it weren't for your instructions. You should write guides. Those instructions were way more helpful than any guide I found on the game.
  5. Well I'm flattered.
  6. Thanks Also, don't worry about it. I'll probably look up some tips if I need them, it's just that your advice was always very helpful
  7. Yeah... sorry about that. If it's anything like the later games, you'll want to focus on diversifying your wanzers and building their frames around weapon use. Basically sniper units should be able to cover large terrain quickly while melee units should be built for defense and machine gun units should land somewhere in-between.

It's also best to cripple enemy units rather than outright destroy them. Always aim for their weapon arms, and worry about destroying them after you've destroyed their ability to fight back. It helps level up new recruits as well. Also, the Shotgun/fist combo is a great melee unit.
  8. Because I got it for Christmas years ago and enjoyed it then but got stuck pretty quick and couldn't beat it. Then I wanted to start again but couldn't get myself into it. And I feel bad for just leaving it like that because my awesome dad bought it for me, and though he probably doesn't even remember he did, I feel bad just not playing it. I wanted to get back into it for real this time, but it's kinda frustratingly difficult, so I was hoping you could give me tips, but there goes that idea.
  9. No, I've wanted to but it came out at a bad time when I didn't have money. I think I have the original (it's a port of FM1) on my hardrive though. Why?
  10. Have you ever played the Front Mission game that's out on DS?
