Makes a lot more sense at least, and since I haven't seen a single page on the internet advising to switch it seems pretty safe to assume it's true. It's weird though, in personal experience it always felt like you get double. Oh well.

On a side note since you might know for sure, does switching character after killing an enemy but before collecting the points actually double the ABS you get (since you get it for both weapons) or does it just split them between the two weapons?
