Cause I always think there's something off. I mean, I feel a lot more at ease with my characters because I know that, essentially, I cannot mess anything up. Here, I kinda had to compromise my cartoony style a bit to make it work because here there is a real person playing the character. That makes it all the harder to draw fan art, IMO. Plus, you know I'm not that confident in my drawing skills overall. I mean, I guess I can pull faces off pretty well overall, but I mostly just draw for myself. Putting that stuff out there in front of people is pretty damn stressful
Wow that looks so great Very impressive! Not sure why you were worried
Welp, it's up.
Alrighty!
Ok, just drew it. I'll scan and post it in a second so let me know what you think
Thanks
Thanks for the advice And that drawing looks really good!
Hmm, might be good to try and push yourself, and if you don't feel ready then fallback on Ian. I've tried some stuff I wasn't ready for, so I just put it aside and drew something a bit simpler. Have to take things at your own pace. I posted up my prompt and also a second drawing of a different character in my drawing thread that I'm actually pretty impressed I managed.
I mean, it's not really about the bond, it's just that I feel more comfortable drawing my characters as I know I'm the only one who draws them so that is the official way they look I was thinking of drawing Scully because I really like her, was thinking of trying my hand at something new, plus, she would be a recognizable character to the others. So yeah, this is a question of whether I want to stay in my comfort zone or push myself. :/
I'm drawing my all time favorite character (SPOILER)you'll have to go to the thread and see (Don't worry it will be easy to tell) . I'll be posting it up soon. If Ian is your favorite character than you should draw him . I imagine you would feel more of a personal bond with him than Scully, but I don't know really. I guess its up to you.
