Totally agree. It's just lower on the list because, for those reasons, I just personally dislike it more. And in the end I really don't see the point in wasting my energy on hating XIII.
Yeah the FFX frustration is annoying but at least I would argue it has some merits that make it worth playing for ten minutes before you realize that starting a new game was a bad idea.
Honestly, I believe one game in the series is objectively worse, while the other I'm just incredibly frustrated about because everyone loves it, even though it sucks.
How dare you not put FFXIII as number one!

I'll have to check it out, also FES will always be the best version for me. The Girl story is great but the gameplay changes were not in P3P.
Btw, have you seen the "EoFF Voices a Final Fantasy Game" thread? We're voicing FFIX and I'm actually doing quite a bit of voice work there

It's actually pretty easy to clear the floors and in new game plus where wandering into Monad and screwing the game with a high level party makes New Game + a breeze. Shame P3P removed that feature...
