Nice! Yeah the last bits of the game move quite fast, it's exciting. Good on you for making time for a workout. I'm the opposite: workouts are just time wasted that I could use playing games :P
I just got my gun back! Exciting times! Things are happening. Got an hour blocked out to play before le workout and am very excited.
I'm also up to the Ruby part, but I still need to get my gun back, so I'm waiting to hunt her down afterwards.
I've heard you can, but I've never done it, so I think it's just a capitalist lie.
I'm on the hunt for Ruby now. I didn't know it was possible to play the game without solving the murder, tbh. Interesting.
I've done a couple of playthroughs - once with a Boring/Sorry Cop, once with a communist Superstar Cop (who basically just told everyone that they're cramping this style while also asking them for money) and in the playthrough I'm doing now I'm a drug-addicted Apocalypse Cop who tells everyone that it's time for "The Gloaming". I get more wacky every time I play. I've never NOT solved the murder though. It's pretty hard to smurf that up tbh.
I've been playing it obsessively. Still not done first playthrough, but I'm getting close to solving the murder. I'm high in Intellect and Motor stuff. Not sure how I got those high stats, but I'm guessing it's related to how you answer the intro dream sequence. I'm playing a mostly boring cop trying to go straight and give up the destructive life, deal with his trauma, move on, etc., and also I guess I'm starting communism again. My next playthrough I'm going super high Psyche and Physique and will be wacky af.
Hate it when that happens.
I knocked very hard on a grate and suffered a heart attack, losing 45 minutes of progress.
Oh man, how have we never thought of Quince of Darkness? That's glorious xD
