  1. Oh thanks, I appreciate that! All of it, really . I will send you a summary of my story so you can understand a bit more about my world and characters and can give some feedback. Feel free to share that with your wife as well!

I look forward to hearing your bios. And I think a POV from Chuck would be a great idea! It helps you see how they think and separates them as individuals outside of the couple.
  2. And I'll try to sketch their faces for you as well I don't really have any time to do any serious drawing nowadays, but one day I will give you full-body pics of your characters.

I figured I'd send you their bios in the format of: basic physical traits (eye color, etc.), where they come from (if I have an idea), and basically what I know and don't know about them, both of which may be subject to change. You can share anything I send you with Sharky, if you'd like

Another thing I had in mind was that I want the stories to be written from both Evie's and Chuck's perspective. If another fitting prompt came up, I'll probably write it from Chuck's POV.

Thanks a lot for this, BTW. If you ever feel the need to brainstorm something about your book, don't hesitate to ask me
  3. Thanks
  4. I am currently working on a book, but only one of the prompts barely touched on that. I had Evie and Chuck in mind for a long time, but only now have I written something about them. If the prompts are appropriate, I'll try to make their story a series of short stories The Matoya thing was something that just came to me when I saw the picture, but I guess that's another bit of nice series material.
I would gladly share some character bios for the Evie/Chuck series with you Once I have some time, I will send them to you.
  5. It is . he is a better writer than he thinks.

Are you working on a particular story now, or just a few different ones with the writing prompts? You said you'll probably use more of your latest prompt, are you planning on making a whole story with them?

If you are, or are writing a different story, you should PM me a summary and some character bios. We might be able to help each other brainstorm too
  6. I guess there's no point in forcing him. Still, that's a pity
  7. I told him that, but he doesn't want to!
  8. Don't be. No matter how stupid it may seem at first, you can really flesh out an idea nicely if you think about it hard enough.

Also, Sharky should totally join our writing prompts! :P
  9. Don't worry, I know how you feel :P. There's a blossoming romance between Dylan and Nina in my story that I never intended and I think they're adorable. I don't know yet if it will become something more.

Sharky is mostly my editor. I type stuff up and he corrects a lot of my grammar/spelling/typos and tells me where I should add stuff or if something feels out of place. This is one of only two scenes he's actually helped write, so I know he's very nervous about how it will be received. I think he's a really good writer. We've found that we compliment each other because I have a lot of creative ideas, and characters and such and he has a hard time coming up with all of that, but he's good at correcting and flushing out already created scenes.

I'm glad you wife helps you brainstorm . That's always fun. Although I do get embarrassed discussing my ideas sometimes :P
  10. Wow, that is awesome! You can give him kudos from me, as I really enjoyed those bits It's so nice that he's helping you out with this story so much. Ania often motivates me to work harder, and though she usually refrains from giving me direct ideas so that I can be the sole author of my stories (she is a great writer herself, though ), there are times when we brainstorm ideas and then I write them.

I'm really glad you like my idea. And even though I know they will have problems, I really hope things work out for Evie and Chuck. I mean, it's weird coming from me, but I think they make a cute couple XD
