Honestly? I didn't like it until my second playthrough. I can understand how monotonous it can get.
Man I don't undertand why people have issues with Tartarus, the game has so many built -in anti-frustration elements that climbing Tartrus is pretty easy.
Oh, it's been years since I brought up the issue. She had to express interest herself I's a wonder it's so quick after P3P. She was so traumatized by Tartarus, I thought she'd never play a game again.
Man I wish I could get my GF to play it.
I know that feel! Skyblade got me interested in Fire Emblem: Awakening, so my dad bought it for my nameday, but I have yet to meet up with him. I also have this rule of playing only one game at a time (The Sims 3 don't count), and I'm still slowly making my way through Tactics Ogre while exams are coming up and I need to start assembling a bibliography for my MA On a lighter note, my wife started Chrono Trigger recently
Yes, I've been keeping an eye on it. I would play Tactics Ogre but I'm kind of in the homestretch for school and finals so I haven't seriously gamed in a few weeks. Not to mention I'm trying to finish up three games where I am at the very end and just need to push myself to get them done.
Try Tactics Ogre, because it is magnificent. There's also this new game coming up - Unsung Story. Have you heard about it?
I think it might actually be my favorite Matsuno game to be honest.
I've noticed
Vagrant Story is awesome if very different. It's less FFTactics and more Parasite Eve meets Metal Gear Solid while all set in Ivalice.
