Don't worry, I love IX It's just that over the years, as I've become an adult, most FFs have held up for me and X became a thorough disappointment. Not only is the gameplay extremely linear, I find the characters poor and the writers inept. There is no subtlety, no genuine emotions, only cliche. The romantic plotline feels forced and Tidus' character development is less plausible than me ever having a unicorn. It just comes off as the most juvenile. Probably has to do with XII being next and it being my favorite alongside VI. I've seen your LP of FFIV, btw! How did you like it? You might wanna try the 3D remake for DS, as it's an even better version and the monsters use new strategies
Yeah :/ So hey, you don't like FFX? I would be interested in hearing your thoughts on why that is. I like it, but it certainly isn't my favorite Final Fantasy game, so don't worry about offending me or me getting defensive or something :P If you insult IX though....
