The DS version is simply exquisite. You should play it ASAP. Normally the game is kind of silly. This version just makes the whole thing twice as epic. Also, twice as difficult It is quite difficult, compared to the other versions, but in a very fun way, IMO.
That's the one I got is the DS version . IV is one of the only ones I haven't played.
Tactics is awesome too Though I prefer TA personally, I think the original Tactics is objectively the better game. I like VIII a lot as well. Which version of IV will you be playing? My personal favorite is the DS version.
I like XII a lot. VIII is my second favorite, and I really like Tactics. I just got IV so I'll be playing that soon.
I played it once, but I still love it to bits. The fanfic I wrote about it (the only one I have ever written) won me the prize at the forum's contest It's pretty inspirational. And I love the throwbacks to the older FFs. I have this theory that every FF divisible by three is awesome. VI and XII are my favourites, IX is my close second, III is not one of my faves (I prefer II), but I still think it was way ahead of its time. Kind of why I'm so excited for XV
I've played IX every year since I was 9 :P. It's my favorite game of all time.
