Yeah, I'm trying to think rationally. The chances he died in a car accident are pretty slim and if something bad happened, he's up there because there's a big event going on this weekend, there should be people all up and down the mountain travelling for it. He's also a better driver than most so I imagine he would know what to do in a bad situation. And yes, the signal is crap. it's just hard because I try thinking of that and then I think "what if something did happen though?" If I don't hear from him tonight, I'll try to call his friend. I guess I'll make some nachos and play some Final Fantasy IX and surf the forum and clean and hope it helps things. Thanks for the advice.
I know it's easy for me to say, but keep calm. I kind of know how it feels when a loved one does not respond in risky situations. You can't really do anything about it, all that is left is waiting, a very crushing feeling. The best you can do is not think about it for now. Again, easier said then done, but occupying your brain with some fun activities can help lower the stress, especially since you know it's just that the signal is bad.
Thanks, that's very encouraging I'm kind of a mess atm because my boyfriend went up to the mountains this morning and I haven't heard from him since. It's probably just bad signal but I'm really getting worried and paranoid .
Gurl, don't give up. You need to finish this! This is, like, my third attempt at this book. Taking a break really gives you time to reevaluate some things and make it even better. It's gonna be awesome, you just gotta believe in it
I was writing, and then my self-esteem crashed so I stopped for a while. Then my laptop died with my story in it . But yeah, if you ever want someone to share some thoughts or read your work, I would be happy to help
BTW, you were writing a book weren't you? I remember reading the chapter you posted and loving it. Do you intend to publish it someday? I'm kind of interested, because I too am writing a novel that's been in my head for a long time. Was thinking it might be nice to share some thoughts with a fellow aspiring writer
