People still celebrate its departure, regardless. Not everyone who has cancer, obviously, but I am pretty sure I have heard of it happening. Perhaps from some sort of teacher, who may have had that one disease (the down one)

Retiring. Resigning! You should throw it a going away party. Except not really, because throwing a going away party for a lump is weird. Unless it’s cancer, I guess; those parties seems to be more accepted.
That reminds me. There was a hypnotist who came to school the other day. It was for some assembly for the seniors, and the last hour and a half of it they brought in a hypnotist. I thought it was going to be stupid but...jesus christ. It was totally real and crazy and hilarious and I don't get how it works but it was cool! He made all the kids that volunteered do irish dancing. 8-)
