  1. I'm curious too, but I get the feeling it will probably be more in the vein of P3/P4 cause they have sorta hit a goldmine with this design, which doesn't bother me cause I feel the social link system still has places it can be expanded on. I also need them to re-balance combat and get it right this time, which may involve a bit of backtracking from P4's design.
  2. It would be nice... I'm very curious as to what they'll do for Persona 5.
  3. My guess is they are testing out the prospect of choosing your characters gender for future entries and I wouldn't be surprised if the Japanese wanted a portable version of P3 (the moneymaker of the franchise) so they chose to kill two birds with one stone.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did something similar for P4 in the future but hopefully if P1 does well they may consider releasing the P2 titles. Course they may wait until after P5 is released.
  4. I was hoping for it, but the release of P3P first kind of killed my hope. I mean, it's weird, the game is quite fresh anyway, why another rerelease?
  5. I have EP for PS1 and I found a really cool site if you want the backstory to the P2 games. I've never played IS but I read the excellent fan translation of the script. I think the best bet would be to either find the games on a PS1 emulator or hope to god they finally give them a PSP release.
  6. Hooray! Then I just have to figure out a way to play Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment...
  7. I own both copies, the PSP version is a lot better, its still silly but after dealing with the "U.S. Version" it will feel like heaven, especially since they actually do a better job explaining attack range for weapons and equip bonuses. You also get the Snow Queen quest.
  8. My thoughts exactly Problem is, I'm not sure wether it will come out in Europe, and Play-Asia won't let me import it ;( Anyhow, I'll do my best to get it! And I might finally be able to play the first instalment, since I ordered it on the PSP. I tried once before with the "original" US version... Let's just say my brain barely avoided exploding. The localization was horrible!
  9. The story and casts are equal in my eyes but it was little things that make P3 win out cause I wasn't too fond of how P4 nerfed physical abilities, did money, and I felt the social links were not as balanced with the story. But really, most of that is just nitpicking as opposed to a really legitimate complaint. I'm picking up P3 Portable as well, just because all the stuff I've read about the Girl's campaign makes it sound interesting cause it is very different from the Minato's.
  10. I loved P3 as well, but P4's characters and story just moved me a lot more. And the way you could control characters in battle was nice, as well as the follow-up attacks. I did not like the fact, that the party's personae had to be manually upgraded using social links (I never got Naoto's and Rise's). I'm thinking of getting P3Portable once it's out. Sounds interesting enough.
