I love "The Nightmare before Christmas"! Tim Burton is a genius...
Hey dude! I beat Episode I lately and started Episode II! I must admit I'm disappointed... The graphics seem worse. I mean, I was never a fan of Episode I's design, but the characters seem more blocky now. And Shion's face is completely different! Not to mention the voice changes... chaos has a better voice though, IMO... And I can't stand the music! I had my now favourite Mitsuda's OST and now some sissy is ruining the music... I mean, it's nice to have more battle themes, but the area tracks are just EVIL! I just entered the Ormus fortress... Were you so disappointed with Episode II as well?
Its hard to miss Albedo's theme and the Song of Nephilim is a great track as well and made for a good dungeon track.
I'll keep my ears peeled then
Yeah it does play in a few places but I felt it worked so well with Cherenkov that I always associate it with him. My next favorite part is when Albedo enters the stage as he's easily the best part of Xenosaga.
Oh, yeah, that is nice. But I believe it played earlier as well. Like during Virgil's speach about Realians... And it really does sound like a bit darker version of Rei's theme, which is my favourite NGE track.
It plays throughout the flashbacks that Cherenkov (sp?) has of his past. Its the dark piano piece that plays solo for awhile and then gets really vicious at certain times. Its called Insecurity. It very reminiscent of a few tracks from Xenogears, as well as a few from Neon Genesis Evangelion. I just love dark tracks like these and I felt it really fit the story being told.
I recently left the Cathedral Ship. Where did that favourite piece of yours play?
