I honestly don't know the last time I enjoyed a AAA game xD
Oh I totally get that - I'll admit I'm getting a bit tired with my latest runthrough, since I'm trying to do a lot of quests that I haven't done before. It's taking a while.
It was just the same open world timesink wankery that AAA games tend to have nowadays. There were good bits, but the whole is always less than the parts.
Really? That's interesting. I can understand not liking 2 but what didn't you like about Inquisition? Origins is clearly the best though.
Haha possibly. The sword and board and big boi two hander are frustrating as piss. Ooh noice. I only like Origins; couldn't stand 2 and on.
There's a chance I was playing it wrong. I do that sometimes. Dragon Age, for sure. I replay the entire series at least once a year and never get sick of it!
I still need to buy it on PC. I don't recall there being much in the way of monotonous hackery and slashery, but there's always a chance of rose tinted goggles! What's your go to absolute must play game?
Honestly, it was the battle mechanics! Some of the fights lasted sooo long and you just had to sit there, hacking and slashing - it was tiresome after a while. The pacing was pretty awful too. Having said that though, I ended up spending quite a bit of time on it, so I obviously didn't think it was that bad. I just found it frustrating. I might give it another go at some point.
It's so goooooood! Genuinely in my top 5-10 of the past decade. What didn't you like about it? Was it the absolutely top tier trash story and pacing? xD
I'm not one to tell people what to do with their money, but... what a waste of money.
