Yeah, that's true. I'm not too sure on the validity of that, I overheard people complaining at school. But it would be pretty stupid, but I can see where the fear stems from
Not all the time, just most of it. Plus what if you're a teacher with a child/children, and your son/s and/or daughter/s goes to the same school you teach at. Can you not be friends then?
Yeah, apparently teachers and students can't be "friends" on social networking sites. I think that's a load of crap, I was out today and had a long chat with one of my teachers because we are friends, stupid government. Stop thinking of the children, you think wrong.
As well as a bit overboard.
There's that too, they take that sort of thing fairly seriously xD
Yeah, and probably violate child protection laws.
I doubt it would be possible in Australia, but maybe other countries have it? I swear I saw it in a TV show once, but I don't know. That would be quite weird though, I may have to research it some more
I've always wondered if male teachers can teach at all-girls schools.
Yeah, that always sucked. There were a few years in primary school where they had extension classes, but most of the time they were making us do work from the previous year, which didn't help us improve too much. There was a girl in my class who was an absolute genius, she won a full-scholarship to some prestigious all girls school for all of high school, so she was lucky it didn't hold her back
Afterward that I was fine, it's just I would finish the work quickly but my teacher wouldn't let me read.
