That's the problem. The game bored me and gave me no incentive to keep playing at the time. Only reason I picked it up is because I want to review all the mainline Final Fantasy games. Uhh... I've been dealing with a couple of personal things. Mainly just been playing The Walking Dead, Silent Hill, and keeping my social media outlets active. Resident Evil review was pretty popular with the Twitter crowd. I got over 20 views on it the first couple of hours it was posted. I'm hoping the Silent Hill one sees similar success. Don't know why it wouldn't given its fanbase.
You quit a bit too fast. The game is tremendously boring until you get to the Crystarium and finally get to actually progress your characters. XI is pretty awesome, though we never had the money to play the full game. Apart from that, I am overheating from the amount of work I have. Going to classes and teaching English is incredibly straining on its own, and on top of that I do my best to write - both my story and my MA thesis, so yay for headaches How about you?
You made it farther than I did. I got past the first boss and then quit as soon as the game allowed me a chance to save. I found it on sale at Kmart and decided to pick it up for collection sake. Last time I played it I didn't have HD or a PS3, so maybe I can at least enjoy the visuals a little more this time around. Only FF I need is XI and I'll have all the mainline games. What else have you been up to?
Spiffy. I'm liking it a bit better than expected. I'm in chapter 7 already. Though I wonder how much longer I can take the Crystarium. It's fun so far but I am tired of the game limiting me so much in my leveling.
Hi. How has FFXIII on Steam been treating you?
You really don't have to know much, if anything, about the various canons I use. The story is set in an original world with its own lore and there are more original characters in it than canon characters. One person who never played Mass Effect thought it was an original story and didn't know Garrus didn't belong to me. That made me feel pretty warm and fuzzy. I'm good. My Castlevania review managed to promote a lot of discussion here and on another site I visit. Working on my Luigi's Mansion review now, and at some point today I need to edit that Super Mario RPG review for the frontsite. I would have done it earlier, but I was poofed from lack of sleep and going on a picnic so I hit the hay pretty early.
Sorry I took so long to reply! I'm so busy with lots of things now. It's my final year in uni and I have to write my MA thesis which is a drag. I haven't been able to write much in the summer, so I'm trying to make up for that now. I've written a new chapter to this sci-fi series I have on my blog and I hope people are gonna like it. And how about you? I saw your fanfic thread. Unfortunately, I didn't read it because I really don't read fanfics if I don't know the source material. So sorry about that
It's hard to speak with no mouth, though. How are you?
Bitch, I know
I'm watching you.
