Oh man, I am so good at remembering to reply. I think I'm becoming addicted to arcade-y style mindless skill-based fps. Jesus, so much fun.
We have a lot of newbie skiiers and snowboarders, most of the international kids are doing it for the first time. I'm okay, above a beginner but I still have awesome crashes all the time.
Mmmm problem is, I reallly suck at it. I barely learned anything, granted, it was a lot of fun, but I'm basically one of those 7 year olds trying to learn the very basics. I really need to get out skiing more though, I need to learn.
I would love to go out skiing with you, damn. We need to make this happen! Laramie's full of a lot of international students which is probably why it's as awesome as it is, though there are plenty of cool americans to be sure.
Colorado... definitely lacks awesome people. It was the only thing North Carolina had when I lived there. God, it's been such a long time since I've been skiing, over a year now... that's sad.
It just puts more of an emphasis on people! I love the mountains around here, it's like being at home but on steroids. Of course they're a lot further away while you're in Laramie, but I saw 'em on my way in and when I went skiing.
Ahh yeah, Wyoming is pretty awesome as well. Gorgeous state. What can I say? I'm a sucker for mountains. Laramie looks really flat except for the occasional hill. Got to love all the farm land too. Yeah, I'd get bored there. Don't blame you.
I'm in Wyoming actually, it's been pretty nice. Laramie is bones boring itself, but you can find plenty to do. Played some pool just now, poker nights on wednesday, shenanigans with the other international kids on weekends and whatnot. It's just when it comes time to go to class that I go "bugger"

I'm going to talk to my professor tomorrow and tell her I have no idea wtf is going on and then I will just write like all of them and hand 'em in on Thursday and just say smurf it. It's only a 1000 level course so it should be easier than this!!!
