No worries. I have days where i just largely avoid academia. Even if i try not to take anything personally, and in trying to be better about being les antagonistic, there are still times it'll frustrate. There's never a problem with stepping back for a bit. Focusing on the lighter areas and the XCom discussion will probably help clear those feelings a bit.
Thanks for that. Sorry, I've just been kind of negative about the community in general for some reason lately. Over-stressed, probably. I'm trying to spend more time in General Chat to hopefully help remedy that a little bit.
Hey man, i don't hate you at all. We may disagree on some of the stuff that pops up in the serious business forum but i try not to get personal about that stuff. I've got friends that are full blown Harper voting Conservatives. Things may get heated sometimes between us but it'd take something pretty awful to make me hate someone. If you're not going out and killing jews or something equally insane then we're good.
Normal I believe. Whatever's a step above the easiest. And I always dump my money into satellites and as many base facilities as I can. Just seemed woefully unprepared for that many chrysalids since I only had one close combat specialist and not much else that could damage multiple ones in a single turn. Everything before and after that mission has gone great.
What difficulty are you on? Also, don't neglect base facilities. Labs are important for faster researching, and research and satellites trump everything.
I was inspired to finally play some Enemy Within thanks to your LP. I was naming most of the soldiers after forum goers, but things haven't been going quite as well for me as they have you. Myself, you and Lockhearted all died in Newfoundland. Shame too because you were a Chrysalid killing machine.
