Aye, that's probably what's goin' on with hers. Right after it started crappin' out she decided to start taking better care of it only to have it get worse. I think the common sense department of her brain has a few burned out light bulbs if you know what I'm sayin'.
Ah definately a factor, and it sucks because if the car gets 'used' to being in a crappy condition after a long time, like bad oil levels and such, if you start to do the things you need to to take care of it it almost always develops a problem. Oooor at least thats been my experience so far.
