if there's only one kind of manus, then the qualifier "old" would not be necessary in the case of our good friend Old Manus. of course, I say "our good friend" as a gross generalization, as I would not consider him a good friend of mine. and i am unsure of how many of you consider him a good friend as well. or a friend at all, for that matter. i have not rambled enough for my liking but i'll live with it.
