Even if I won, I'd just be competing for more battles. Which it's pretty clear at this point that I can't handle. I got lucky in one fight, got utterly crushed in another, and gave up on the third in the second turn. Even if I were to "wait and come back", it wouldn't result in anything different except wasting more people's time. I'm not a great battler. I'm decent at a lot of aspects of Pokémon, but I am not that great of a battler. I'm over predictable and not knowledgeable enough about the minutiae.
I can't anymore today because I really need to finish up a chapter of my thesis. Skyblade, you don't suck. Ulty's a pro battler and Shaibana got the best team you could ask for. There really is no shame in losing. Hell, I've lost half the matches I've had so far. It's really okay to lose and in a big tournament like this, a couple of losses really don't amount to much. You're a great battler who knows a hell of a lot about Pokemon and uses some really fierce strategies. You still stand a chance! Also, even if you withdraw from battles, I still consider you part of the tourney staff. Just so you know.
Come back and lose again. I hate losing. I hate it. I suck, I know that, but I thought I could get past that. But I couldn't, and it's no fun, and I'm just stuck an eternal loser, and I'd rather not play than lose. Waiting online whenever you're ready to trade.
Sky, I'm not gonna erase you from the tournament yet, just so you know. Give it a day or two, let it go, and come back again then. If you still want to leave then, I'll count you as withdrawn. But still try to think it through.
