I also thought for some reason that red was stats up and blue was stats down, which made things for a few areas a bit more complicated But its pretty funny so far!
Death is kind of trivial in this game so don't worry about losing units in battle, it comes with the territory though it does make leveling Thieves and Mages a huge pain in the ass.
Well that's good at least. I tried playing this a while back but I couldn't beat Mid-Boss. I beat him first try this time though, although I only had 4 characters left
Hell I think I had one when I picked it up. Disgaea isn't really big on "one-of-a-kind" items.

Oh that? I think you can get those items off normal enemies later in the game. It has been ages since I played the first Disgaea.
