No, my own Bottom List is essentially the same idea of when I was doing my own top list and made it to blow off steam while I battled the issue of ranking the games I loved.
I was actually thinking, since everyone is all pumped up with games lists right now and mine isn't ready yet, of starting with a "Games I wanted to like" which would cover the games I tried for my list and didn't make it, and then transition to my top games list from there. Dumb idea?
I think you may have played more Mana than I have though I do own Children of Mana and Dawn of Mana. Secret of Mana is still my favorite though Legend is an under-appreciated gem.
I tried Secret of Mana and I didn't like it too much. Not the story, I didn't get super far, but the gameplay was very difficult for me. I really don't have much experience with SNES. That is the console right? See what I mean, I can't even keep that straight xD And I played Legend of Mana which I liked. Oh and I tried Children of Mana which I so wanted to like but then it was too hard
I think the shortest RPG I've played was probably Breath of Fire V. Well glad you enjoyed it, have you played the other Mana games?
I actually like it. It's not going to break in to the top half of my games list, but I'd replay it in the future and I've enjoyed it so far. There are certainly some glaring faults with it, but overall I like it. It's just the shortest RPG I have ever played. I though Chrono Trigger was short
I've heard it is, I haven't gotten very far into but the whole reset level thing kind of bugged me.
