I noticed the "deal with the devil" thing too. It reminded me of the mainline Shin Megami Tensei games. I really hope it's just a reference/callback thing. Because I don't want to see more Nietzsche.
Well, what I meant was that this game so far looks much more overtly dark, what with the MC seemingly making a deal with the devil when it comes to his persona powers, not to mention trying to rip someone's head off. It looks more violent and gritty, if you wanna get technical
Yeah, because Persona has always been sunshine and puppies before. Persona 4 may have been light hearted compared to the rest of the series, but it's a pretty dark series overall, Fynn.
I have no idea. Don't experiment with it too much trying to find out, though.

Tierno gives away one a day if you show him the move he wants (save beforehand and reload until he gets one that you can show him, like Swords Dance). There is one a week you can get with the Itemfinder on the beach in Route 8. You can also use Thief to get them from Luvdiscs, which are easy to get with the Old Rod, also on Route 8. Not enough time to trade right now, but maybe later in the week, if you still need them.
