I'm sure you will, you finally get to meet more interesting characters and partly move away from the Team 7 dynamic and meet new people and Kakashi's fellow Jounin.

I feel you will really like the next arc, it's the one that usually hooks most fans because it finally introduces an antagonist, and introduces the majority of the cast for the first half of the series.
I'll keep my eye out for them then
Kakashi is a regular fixture but he gets taken out occasionally due to story reasons like you saw when he overused his Sharingan. I do like Kakashi but all the characters I love you haven't met yet because they are all introduced in the next arc. My faves are Shikamaru, Rock Lee, Hinata, Gaara, and Jiraaya.

He comes and goes as the series begins to expand and you're introduced to the other ninja teams.
I'm too cheap for that. Actually they might have it on anymanga, but the show I'm currently watching is almost over so I need something to replace it :P So I'll keep watching it (as long as Kakashi is in it)
It's a Shonen Series, they are built on dragging everything out. Which is why I prefer reading the manga.
