  1. The buses in Edinburgh are bloody amazing, I tell ya. I moved here when I was 18 and I used to just walk everywhere in Auckland (so long as you leave early enough, you can get anywhere in time... but I'd take the bus if I wanted to go into the city). I've never really had that need for a car, and it's so expensive and I'm a tight bastard... so... yeah.

That tourist sounds like an utter wanker.
  2. You don't have a licence? That's a surprise. Though public transport there is a lot better than it is here. And judging by Mike's record, you all just drive illegally anyway Sounds like a good plan to me though, get those kids outta there and into the better place to grow up. NZ really was amazing, and continued to impress me all the way until I left. Except this one guy, but I think he was a tourist.
  3. They fit into it but we just don't know when. It'll be when we're ready, after we've done all those super expensive things we want to do like see the world and whatnot. As for how it'll happen, that all depends on where we are at the time but it'll probably be born in the UK and grow up in NZ after a couple of years. I don't want my kid turning out like all these British people. Have you seen them!? Terrible, horrible things. I'm marrying one. Wait, what?

But for now it's: Get married, rennovate & sell flat, buy house, get driving licences, get better jobs, road trip around UK, road trip around US, laser eye surgery and I forget what else. Too much, basically. Kids can wait.
  4. by jove you are right. I assume you and Danielle have discussed it already (actually I recall you saying something re: kids once before, but I have forgotten) so what is the "plan"? You have pretty solid roots over there now, and a lot of plans to see the world (right?) so how do kiddies fit in with all that?
  5. Me!? Hard to prod into a discussion!? Never. It's incredibly easy. Look, we're doing it right now!
  6. Well yes that too but gosh you make it so hard to prod you into a discussion. You would make a good dad though, you jackass
  7. It's not just logic, 'tis love.
  8. That was the logical response but I am merely testing you.
  9. The kid will never suck because s/he will be my kid.
  10. Yus, I will treat her special.
