I love the FF8 songs too, I've learned how to play Eyes on me, Liberi Fatali, Sad song and that Garden fight song on the piano. : D Those songs were awsome, and not very hard.

And about the question, kinda...I got it almost four years ago, dabbled on and off for about a year, then kinda drifted from it. I moved out of my parents house for college, then into my own apartment, so now I have it back with me and I've started up again. I can't play much well, but a few things I can do decently...Like Breezy from FF8, the theme of Balamb? That one's fun. And the opening and ending themes for Chrono Cross, Time's Scar and Radical Dreamers? I'm not so good at Radical Dreamer's cuz that's sooo tough, but I'm getting there! ...Sorry for the tangent =\
