I forgot to mention the twelfth person in the first chapter And here you see one of the things that can happen during the writing process that get axed during editing due to the format of it and me mostly writing it as I go (though don't worry, the mystery is planned out), such things happen and now I just need to go around it somehow. But yeah, there's 12 people. We can chalk up the 12th one not being described yet to Ram being an unreliable narrator XD God, I'm such an amateur

That sounds really neat. I've been playing with the idea of trying to translate something, but I don't think I have enough writing prowess to produce actual decent-sounding results, haha. But damn, that's nice. Plus you'll probably come across a lot of worthwhile literature in the process, won't you?
Yeah, Polish-English. I've actually been doing it for the past year and I'm getting more and more jobs from this one office I'm working with, though I plan to apply to other offices as well, and then open my own company. It's pretty lucrative as long as you do get assignments, because when you take into account how much time I need to spend on it vs how much time you spend at a nine-to-five job, it really pays a lot better. Sadly, it's also much more involving, but I think I'm quite good at it
