Just got the OK to take a day off on Halloween, which is awesome because All Saints' Day on the 1st is a holiday here in Poland, so essentially I'm gonna have a long weekend. And God knows I need it badly.

No, I get you. One time Ania got suddenly really really sick in the middle of the night and I had to get up and go to a pharmacy because we were all out of anything nausea-related. Thankfully, it was some kind of break at uni and I didn't have to go to school the next day, so at least I could rest later. But yeah, having your schedule thrown off like that is no fun
I had a crisis call last night from like 1 am to 6 am and I am all off schedule and exhausted now. I slept some when I got home but I couldn't sleep in too late or it would mess up my schedule even more. Petty complaints compared to why I was up, but I'm just bleegh

I highly recommend The Myth of Mars and Venus by Deborah Cameron, by the way. It's really easy to read and she really gets her point across pretty accurately through a very grounded way that really has a lot of data backing her up.
