Alright, that's good. Though personally, I think most people are gonna be using X/Y anyway. Those games were talked about much more on these forums.
Well, we've banned held items, and the new moves to ORAS are all exclusive to Smeargle (which I haven't bred) and legendary Pokémon. The only other restriction is not being allowed to use Cosplay Pikachu. So, we should be good to battle with any version.
I'll be using X too - just needed to make sure I didn't say te contestants could use both games when they couldn't.
You can, as long as no ORAS only items or moves are used. But I can use Alpha Sapphire for the battling. I just don't like the game as much for playing, so I'm doing the breeding over on X. The Kalos games are so much better than the Hoenn games.
Wait a minute - now that I think about it, can you battle and trade between XY and ORAS?
Oh yeah, I remember that Rantz was good at this. I don't think he's around a lot anymore, though.
