There must always be time for one to reflect, relax and unwind. You can't do that with work and school and with strangers it always seems like you're being judged or out on display. Sometimes you need to hide away and just be yourself. I understand perfectly man.
I relish my alone time, I don't get much of it anymore with work and school. Most of my friends are really social so it gets annoying hanging out with them cause they invite everyone they know with them.
Once or twice is quite infrequent so I guess it makes sense, but it's not so easy to hang out with people and a lot of the time you just need to chill on your own. I get exactly what you're like. I have two or three mates that I will actively meet up with a few times a year but otherwise I'm just too busy being awesome on my own.
Yeah, but I'm really anti-social so I don't blame them. I average seeing most of my friends between once or twice a year, my convention being one of them. My girlfriend actually see's me more than most of my other friends.
Sounds like you need to smack them upside the head and tell them to stop bothering your important video gaming business It's kind of hilarious that your friends are better at being a nagging girlfriend than your girlfriend though xD
She's not that bad actually, my other friends whine more about me being a recluse than she does.
See I feel like that's a good compromise, but I guess it's not enough. Sucks to hear, but I guess you'll find a balance soon! Or she's just going to be on your case forever so you will have to invest in some earmuffs
She usually dos but then whines later that I don't spend enough time with her, which is pretty fair thing to say in this regard but we just don't share the same interest in pursuing similar hobbies. She did get her way a bit when she got her friend to dress me up as old man Ezio from Assassin's Creed Revelations.
Surely she can just go hang out with the other cosplayers then and leave you to the panels! That's her choice! xD Women, can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em!
She's always annoyed I don't spend enough time with her but her and I have different taste when it comes to having fun at a con. She loves cosplaying and I like panels. Other than that I had a pretty good time, though I feel my con experience is in a bit of a rut cause I seem to go to the same panels every year. Maybe I'll run a panel next year if I can get better with a few programs.
