You changed your name. I barely recognize you anymore. Actually, I've just thought of you as "Fynn" for quite a while, since the full name was too long. But it's still an odd adjustment to make.
That's perfect, considering I'll only have a little time to play in the evenings from Monday onwards The winter break is coming to an end and I feel hardly rested at all... At least I got some writing do e. Too bad it wasn't for my MA thesis
Fun, but hard to stick with. The dungeon crawling is well done, but it does suffer from the SMT standard of having some mobs that just provide huge difficulty spikes, which a makes the game a little frustrating.
How is Persona Q coming along, by the way? I intend to finally get to it once I'm done with Dangan Ronpa, which I just started playing.
I understand ranking problems. It's given me a lot of trouble while developing my own list, and I do have occasional problems (like whether Fire Emblem Rekka No Ken is better than Fire Emblem Awakening, something I'm still not sure on, because each of the games have very different strengths). But I'm trying to judge based on what I know of you and your rankings so far, and I can't see what is going to hit the top.
I hate ranking stuff in general. Deciding which games go where was really hard. My number 1 is pretty consistently number 1, but the rest really tend to shift a lot, but I will agree the writing of these games cannot be beaten. I think I may surprise you a bit with my top 2, but at least one of the games I'm sure people are expecting up there.
Go read the thread and you'll see
So what game would you group as two games, then? Persona 3 and Persona 3 FES? Or, even better, Persona 3 FES and Persona 3 Portable? Most other games I can think of would be too different to group as a single title. Golden Sun was originally a single game, a single story, split for time and space concerns, so grouping them together makes sense.
I have played all three Golden Sun games and I really enjoyed them. They were simply outclassed by my top 25, in my eyes. I may mention them in my honorable mentions though
I can only tell you that Persona seriously changed my outlook on life. The SMT series in general has influenced me substantially, but Persona is special. So don't worry. Its time is coming.
