You'd be better off eating maggots. I made a potato and leek soup once (I had opened the can about a month earlier and forgot I had) and I accidently cooked some maggots with it. I got about half way through and I realized I eating maggots. I gave the rest to my dog, who was alive at the time.
I had to journey far and wide.
