Some crazy mong tried to kill his daughter by sending a snake to her room in the dead of night. In fact, I still remember the name of that story. "The Speckled Band" or something. *I never read Sherlock Holmes again.
Lighters are indeed great, but are nowhere near as satisfying as matches. You know when you strike a match... and there is that sound of the head sparking aflame and the wood begins to crackle and... SQUIRM. It is really like bringing something to life—and then watching it die. Please wait while I check the dictionary to ensure I am still using real words.
