I'm glad to be out the actual city. I'm a country bumpkin, and the city did me no good. Meh, not super travelly anymore. Emigrated to Canada, and planning to get a house in a few years, but probably in New Brunswick or somewhere out east that way. I do want to do a vacay to Cuba, though, but TBC. I always forget Maryland exists lol. East coast represent! BUT WHO IS GABBY
Haha, I very strongly remember Gabby telling me she met you and being completely taken aback when she said it. It's weird when cyber worldz and real worldz mix. I'd love to be a Yangshuo bum for another week / month / year
Toronto is great. I grew up in upstate New York and so the Canadian border was never a very far drive. We would take weekends trips to Toronto sometimes but more often we'd just go to Niagara because it was immediately over the border and we could drink at 19 instead of 21, lol. I'm doing well, living in Maryland and have a job that I really enjoy. I do miss the travel life a lot though, so I'm envious that it seems like you're still out there doin it
Just reading out old usernotes. I have no recollection of a Gabby at Monkey Jane's in Yangshuo. I did end up going back another year. Monkey Jane's was meh, but a new place had opened up called Bad Panda, and I smurfing ended my life there. I drank their entire menu. Christ.
I live mostly in EoFF lol But geographically I've been in the Toronto area for the past 4 years and likely for the next 4! How's glorious life been treating you?

That's pretty cool. Just another chance for us to finally hang out. *stern look* Pretty good. I've settled into a bit of a routine, which is lame. Plus I don't get any kind of break between semesters, so I'm a bit haggard and drained of enthusiasm for work, haha. But China is still nice and I enjoy my city. Got myself a nice little electric scooter, which has made me much happier, as I can travel around the area easier.
I am, yeah. Most of my friends from TEFL are going to be there again in the same program, so it works out nicely. How are things out there with you, btw? I only catch vague references to China in your posts every now and again and it looks like you've gone and deleted your facebook. Did you ever start a blog or did you become lazy with that like me?
