  1. You can play MGS1-4 on PS3. I was never really interested in them at first, but I thought MGS1 was incredible. And as soon as I moved onto MGS2...wow. It's honestly one of my favorite games of all time. Some of the stuff that goes on in that game is crazy, and I absolutely love it. :P

Yeah, I'll pick up Cowboy Bebop at some point...eventually...I have no idea honestly. I've been too into gaming to watch anything but Twitch streams though.
  2. Yeah, I've been busy haha.

Yes! Fisherman's Horizon is sooo good! I want to tear up every time I listen to it.

Yeah I've never played any MG games haha. They never really appealed to me much. My sister has Twin Snakes for GameCube, so maybe I'll pick that up someday. I have a lot of games I want to play right now though haha.

I think you'd really like Cowboy Bebop actually. You should watch it!
  3. It's all good. I guess you've been busy lately?

The OST is so good. Fisherman's Horizon is one of the standouts to me. I really dig relaxing music like that from the FF series.

You haven't played MGS? Seriously? C'mon Victoria. You have to. I'll even send you my copy if you want. :P And no I haven't watched Cowboy Bebop actually...but I've always been meaning to. I haven't watched much of anything lately to be honest. I've been meaning to get back to anime for awhile but just never get around to it. I might start watching some One Piece again though.
  4. Sorry for the late reply!

Yes, I agree. It seems people either love or hate VIII. I can see why someone wouldn't like it though. There is a lot of teenage drama and angst. And I love the OST too. It has a very jazz like feel to it which I love.

Wow. I've never played any Metal Gear games, but that sounds totally brutal. Nice job!

I actually haven't started a game on Last Story yet. I've been busy watching the anime "Cowboy Bebop". I finished it last night though, so I should starting a game on Last Story soon.
Have you ever seen Cowboy bebop?
  5. I'm excited to get back into VIII. I think as a whole, the game is super underrated and has one of the best soundtracks in the entire series. Super good game.

Hardest final boss? Hm...That's kind of tough to say, haha. I think I would have to go with the final bosses of Metal Gear Solid 2. One of the trophies in the game requires you to beat the game on the hardest difficulty. It wasn't particularly difficult getting through the game normally, but one of the final bosses has an entire section of Metal Gear RAYs attacking you. You normally only have to kill 3-5 on the lowest difficulty, but on this difficulty you have to kill about 25 of them. You pretty much can't afford to get hit at all and have to defeat all of them or else you have to restart. It took me a few hours, but it was super rewarding when I finally beat it.

I've never played The Last Story. And I'm not sure I ever will. How is it? I know Sakaguchi worked on it and I hope it's at least a good game.
  6. Yes, I really enjoyed VIII. The story was a little hard to understand at times, but watching the characters grow and mature is what really made that game. It also has one of the hardest final bosses I've ever beaten. It took me like twenty tries haha. What's the hardest final boss you've ever beaten?

Also my brother-in-law lent me "The Last Story". Have you ever played that one?
  7. Looks like I was wrong about getting the 100% today...it's taking me much longer than I expected.

A lot of people dislike VIII, but it seems like you enjoyed it. That's cool I'm actually in the exact same boat with VIII as I am with IV. Got to the final boss and then never beat the game.

Yeah the Ancient Cistern is fantastic. I haven't played the game since 2011, and with Breath of the Wild coming out next Friday...I might not get a chance to replay Skyward Sword anytime soon. We'll see. I'm happy you enjoyed it. It's definitely a great game.
  8. Cool! I'll look out for it.
The love story in VIII is a close second to IV for me. It also has a lot of nostalgia for me too. I played it when I was eleven/twelve years old.
I really liked SS as a whole. I loved seeing the history of Hyrule unfold. The dungeons were really good - my favorite one was the Ancient Cistern. That one may very well be my favorite Zelda dungeon ever.
It definitely had its frustrating parts though. The Imprisoned was the worst! Having to fight him three times was such a pain. All in all though, I thoroughly enjoyed it! I'm glad I picked it back up again.
  9. Well I should be finished getting the rest of the trophies in Berseria today, so maybe I can start my review afterwards.

I remember that much about FFIV and I totally agree with you. Although I didn't like the love story in FFIV as much as I did in VIII for example. I'll have to replay it soon in order to give you better thoughts, because my memory is a little bit hazy I think I played it when I was like...I dunno, 15 or something. It's been at least 7 years.

I'm happy you finished Skyward Sword! The Demise fight was one of the most epic boss fights in all of gaming to me. What did you think of the game as a whole?
  10. I just finished Skyward Sword! I finished it not 10 minutes ago. It was amazing! The final boss fight was EPIC.
