  1. So wait, is he helping you with Soul or was it another project?
  2. Oh that's cool! Hope you get a nice conclusion out of that then
  3. I agree that I should read more to help with my own writing. I'll check out the suggestion. I have a few sci-fi books I've been meaning to read as well.

In other news, I feel I've made a little headway into convincing my old writing partner to help me finish up my novel. We never came up with an idea for the third act outside of some speculation and I feel a bit weird hijacking it with just my own ideas.
  4. Still, I think flexing your reading muscle is as important as flexing your writing muscle, if you want to make novel writing easier for yourself! A good middle ground to ease you in are short story anthologies. I strongly recommend "The Elephant Vanishes" by Haruki Murakami. Murakami is honestly one of the lost unique writers I've ever read and I strongly recommend reading him due to the unique way he perceives and presents the world.
  5. I don't really know why I've never gotten into novels except on rare occasion.
  6. I used to have that problem too. But I've learned
  7. I actually get bored easily when I read. At least when it comes to actual novels. I tend to do better with short stories.
  8. Luckily, reading is super fun
  9. Yeah, I need to start reading more.
  10. Well, looking forward to it
