  1. Oh, I know what you mean. I always get the urge to play Icewind Dale either in the middle of winter (which, yes, can take up half a year in extreme cases) or summer. Pretty sure one has to do with making the best of a bad situation, while the other just helps me cool down.

But look, now you have the urge to keep playing CC Distegard the urge to replay old FFs and just keep playing CC until you're bored enough to play something else?
  2. You're just mad because one of your seasons takes up half the year.

Honestly, atmosphere is a big deal for me, I like playing scary games around Halloween and I love playing DQ and FF in November and December.
  3. I mean, I get you, since up to a certain point I was like really into scheduling my game time and stuff but then it turned out that it was more stressful than fun so I just started playing whatever I felt like.

    Also, seasons are bulltrout anyway
  4. But its the perfect season for Silent Hill and Fatal Frame!

Besides, I don't want to spend time playing something I've already beat when I've got stuff I've never played before and since CC is a handheld, I'm a bit sad I'm letting it take up my precious little console time.
  5. Just let it go and enjoy the ride, man
  6. If it's the enemy I'm thinking of, I think they were called Dark Nobles in the original. Though there was I think two color swaps of that enemy.

Curtain Call is killing me. I'm playing it too much and I keep putting off my Halloween gaming because of it, in act my mood for any of the games I wanted to play is gone and I actually just want to play some old school FF now.
  7. I happen to have collected all the DLC there is. It is very much worth the price. Also, I am honestly not a fan of the EMS sections, so I don't mind the reduction.

Anyhoo, just encountered an enemy called donkey xote. Done. I am done.
  8. I'm trying to avoid the DLC section. I glanced over it and was a bit annoyed that so many tracks I love are in there. I'm trying to save money here, I don't need to drop an extra $30+ on this game.

I'm also disappointed that the EMS parts have to be unlocked and it looks like there may only be one per popular entry. On the other hand, acquiring other characters is much easier and it looks like they fixed some of the touch based controls for arrow notes and ramped up the difficulty of the travel tracks. I also appreciate the airship stages but a bit disappointed that not all airship themes are used for it.
  9. I'm pretty sure you can still play around with magic ore if you want to change it. Sadly, I don't think Zodiark is there.

But aside from Ramsay, there are the DLC characters of Agrias and Orlandeau available, so Tactics got some love!
  10. My GF loves puns, she also says I have this knack for coming up with puns without thinking.

In other news, my favorite thing about Curtain Call so far is the addition of non-numbered entries and the fact summons are unique to the lead character instead of just being random. The The perfectionist in me is disappointed that Ramza's summon isn't Zodiark, the basic FF fanboy in me is happy that it was Knights of the Round.
