That happens a lot. I just buy the manga digitally as it comes out. the Kindle app is a miracle.
I think I started reading it at one point and then got distracted and never continued. xD
Check out the manga if you have the chance. It's still ongoing, and far better than the anime, which had to go off in it's own direction and just got weird and rushed there at the end.
I think it's one of the few anime I've watched in full lately.
