  1. I hope you don't really think any less of me for disliking FFX
  2. That's good then ^^ Looking forward to it.

I'm glad to hear you're interested in Umineko Looks like my list did at least make people more aware of visual novels.
  3. Oh wow, thanks When I was writing the story, I had a female narrator in mind, but I guess nothing really indicates that. My wife, on the other hand, read it as a male narrator, so I guess it was neutral enough Also, I know I skipped a couple of weeks, but now I have a whole lineup of really short shorts written to last me until the end of June, so I can keep the stories coming and write my thesis at the same time, yay!

Also, thanks for reaching out to me like that. You're now probably my most faithful reader outside of friends and family, so yeah, it means a lot One of the stories I'm gonna upload in the following weeks is kind of a sketch for my VN idea, so stay tuned

On the topic of VNs, I also want to mention that I read through your top list that you posted (didn't want to go too deep to avoid spoilers), and let me just say my backlog for the summer (or just for after uni, since I'll have way more time, I hope) has extended and I at least to try Umineko no Naku Koro Ni
  4. Just wanted you to know that I like MD a lot. Interestingly I don't think there's a single indicator if the narrator is male or female in the story but I intuitively thought it was a female person. Do you think it was 'justice'?
  5. Oh my God

    Someone actually still remembers!!!

    I'll get to it then!
  6. So... will your mystery #1 spot ever be revealed? Or is it a mystery we're supposed to try and figure out ourselves? :P
  7. Interesting. I suspect if you do have friends with some coding/programming experience willing to help, it won't be much of an issue.
  8. Speaking with you and glancing through your blog has actually made me interested in making one. I might check out one of the ones you mentioned, but I really have no experience in all this technical stuff. My best friend is actually a game dev, but I don't think he'll find enough time to work with me. Still, you never know.
  9. Hmm, well, not beyond technical aspect. I've looked a bit into how the NScripter and RealLive Engines work, and I've heard good things about Ren'Py, a user-friendly and freely usable engine.
  10. Do you know anything about making visual novels?
