I can see why. Busy Shlup is busy. I think the only person coming over for Christmas Day is my brother, but I'm not sure on that. Mom had to give him money for gas just so he could make the lunch today.
My in-laws do their big Christmas celebration on Christmas Eve. I'm skipping church to visit with my BFF, who's down just for the holiday, then going back to my in-laws to eat and open presents, then I can hopefully sneak Bay out to visit my BFF a bit since my husband won't let Bay skip church with me. Then Christmas day I have a three hour drive up a mountain to visit my dad's family, then I have to stop by my mom's before I can go home. Then I have seven days straight of work, including a shift starting at 8:30 at night on New Years Eve and ending at 4:45 in the morning on New Years Day. Then on the 2nd I have an outing planned with some friends and there kids, then the next day I have to have Christmas part 3 with my mom's family. And then I go back to work for five days again before I can finally have an actual day off. My last two days off were spend 1) with my in-laws at Disneyland and 2) celebrating my husband's birthday. I'm so tired.
