Someone reported the double post and I got an email about it. I was the first mod to get to it and merge it. So you can actually blame the person who reported the post! (Who shall remain a secret!)
Whatever makes you sleep at night, it's okay by me. Do you have to monitor every post? That's a bit tedious, unless you get alerts whenever someone posts twice consecutively.
