I've decided to do some modest upgrades and a refinishing to my crappy Epiphone Special and give it to my old man as a late Father's day gift. I'll be making a thread on it soon but I thought you'd find it interesting. New pots and wiring, new nut, new tuning machines, Maple Burl veneer on the front and a blue fade finish. Should be cool.
