I'm also on PSN, but other than that not much. As I said, I never really fell into the social media movement. Even when I was on Facebook, I almost never posted. I only had a Facebook page because my GF created it for me without me knowing and I eventually just took it over when I tried to reach out to a few old friends who also never posted.
I've lost count of the number of people I've unfriended and thereby lost contact with because of the election. It's a shame it took a turd being our president for people to really start showing who they are as individuals. Might be worth another shot, especially if BoB does end up having to close this down. Are you only on Steam?
I gave up Facebook about six months before the last U.S. elections and I have no desire to really turn back. I just found it really depressing and a waste of my time, though I do regret losing touch with a few people I could only connect with through there. I miss FOA, she was one of my favorite people on staff when I was on there. Course I liked everyone on staff for the most part even if I didn't always agree with them all the time.
I might hover the discord a bit, but I've been friends with Pauper, FOA, Shorty, Raistlin, Bleys, Lekana and a few others on the Facebook for a while now. I don't post anything on facebook outside of our group chats anyway, but it's a good way to at least see that people are doing well
I'm just a dinosaur who likes the forum format, but I'll adjust and get with the times. I've been meaning to start getting into more social media things lately just because I can see the writing on the wall with the formats I'm used to. What are your plans?
That's a shame, it's been years and your name always has a thread or a post or something on the front site. Hope you make the jump and it opens up other areas.
I may buckle and finally switch over to the discord server. Not my fave way of interacting with people, but a lot of the ones I like from the forum are still active there. Other than that, I don't really have other stomping grounds outside of some wiki site's and even then, I don't actually interact with anyone there, I just write and maintain articles.
