Welp, I’ve checked the subreddit. There definitely is a vocal 3.33 hatedom. Most people are just frustrated that the entire conflict could be resolved if people just talk to Shinji. But instead of seeing this as the genuine human dilemma that it is, wherein everybody blames Shinji whole also desperately trying to not blame themselves even though they know they too are too blame, on top of just being smurfing terrified of him, which really does justify them not telling him anything, they chalk it up to them being handed the Idiot Ball. I cannot

Hey, so a heads up. There’s a huge cRPG sale going on at GOG. All the old schoolD&D games are 75% off (this sale ends tomorrow), and every Witcher game is 85% off (this ends on Sunday). So I know none of those are something you’re particularly eager to try, but they’re all still games I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone, and it’s a great deal so... thought I’d let you know

That sounds great! Hope this momentum keeps up. I’ve been a bit too busy to really dig down to write, but I hope I can finish up that side story in the upcoming days.
The Let's Play is just a matter of editing down stuff. I have the pictures, just have to recheck some sources and write the whole thing. The Retrospective got a bit of a boost the other day because I was listening to the Dear Friends Album which reminded me I still need to collect the IV Celtic Moon Album and FFV Dear Friends. Anyway, its coming along nicely though I've already had to skip over a few things for the sake of space. That four article could have been a series before I came to my senses. Other than that, I got a really good chapter done in my novel. Finally switching from Rebecca rejuvinated the story for me. She's had some great growth in the last few chapters and I feel I have a better idea where her character is going, but now I need to focus on the rest of the cast so I've been spending most of my time building up Janice. I do need to re-arrange some of the conservation in this chapter and finish it, but overall, I'm happy because in addition to finally expanding the world view, I'm finally going to move the plot along. I ended up keeping her in this one location for way too long, and I'm pretty sure a lot of it is going to either be edited down or I'm going to move chapters detailing side characters to later parts of the story so the reader feels like I'm not sidelining the main plot to set up various mysteries. I've got a pacing issue with this current draft.

I beat him through a bit of grinding and a bit of luck. I really felt I tackled him a bit early when I did my initial playthrough. I just finished an old FFVII save file, and I'm back to working on FFV for the Let's Play and retrospective.
