  1. Yeah, I saw your post about Holly. I sadly didn't spend much time with Monster Rancher.

I did unlock Suezo in Deception 2, though.
  2. I started my characters' list in the characters' thread just so you know. I also posted up #3 of my Worst Video Games list since Christmas is over.
  3. Reviews aren't going anywhere. You can check them out anytime. Glad to hear you're doing good.

So far Rush 2 seems easier than the first game. I was just testing it out a bit and didn't crash once. 2049 goes right back to the difficulty of the first game. If you ask me crashing is part of the fun.

I'm pretty good. Just finished my 96th review, Shadow of the Beast, guest wrote on Shorty's site about the new Game of Thrones game, and later today I'll be having lunch with relatives and tomorrow PRESENTS!
  4. Merry Christmas!

Rush 2 was amazing, especially unlocking everything, and was one of my favorite racing games on the N64, so hopefully you'll have a blast with it -- especially that trick mode. >: D

2049 is really fun too, though the wing mechanic takes some time to get used to and is what makes or breaks the game for most people I played it with. If you take the time to get used to it, and the people you are playing with do as well, the game is as fun as Rush 2. I hope you like them both, and I'm looking forward to hearing what you think about them!

Regarding L.A. Rush though, it felt like it wanted to be Midnight Club more than it wanted to be a Rush game, so I never enjoyed it as much as the second and third titles. Maybe you'll like it, though.

As for me, I'm coming out of one of my depressive bouts, so I'm good again now. Sorry I didn't check out your reviews for a while, but I wasn't really doing anything for a bit there.

    How've you been?
  5. Merry Christmas!

I got my hands on Rush 2: Extreme Racing, and the 2049 game. I plan to get L.A. Rush for the PSP and then I'll have the whole series. How have you been?
  6. No. I said the PS One version looked horrible. Never played it.
  7. I'd always spam bouncing betties in the tunnels for when nukes went off and tried to teleport while staying above ground to avoid the damage. Can't ever trust those tunnels with Hydras and Goliaths running around. >: |

You said you had the PS1 version of Global Assault? I guess there were some tanks in that game that weren't in the N64 release: the Bulldog, M-80, and Shredder. :o How were they?
  8. I like the maps that have an underground part so you can avoid that.

I never even heard of "World Destruction League."
  9. It's pretty awesome you still have them; they were great games that, unfortunately, I sold with my N64. I especially agree about Global Assault, as I could totally play that right now if I still had it. Just load up Alcatraz or the Parliament for some awesome multiplayer mayhem, maybe take over a corner of the map and load it up with upgraded Gun Buddies and Minefields in my Flip-E tank. People will eventually catch on, but until then . . . >: D

The best part, though, was always that, no matter how loud that game got with four people, someone always caught the quiet 'nuke deployed' in the background and panic broke out.
"Whoa, wait . . . did anyone hear tha -- SOMEONE SHOT THE NUKE! RUUUUNNNNN!!"
"I JUST USED MY LAST TELEPORT!!!"
    "WHERE THE HELL IS IT?!"
    "MY GUNBUDDY ARMY, NUUUUUUUUUUU!!"

    So good. ; _;

Did you happen to play World Destruction League? I heard it was like an unofficial third game in the series, but no one I know actually played it.
  10. Speaking of BattleTanx, I still have my copy of BattleTanx and BattleTanx Global Assault. I was introduced to the series through my next door neighbor who got mad when I rented the game for myself for some reason... I played the heck out of the second one and it's one of the old games I can always go back to. The PS One version looks horrible!

    Hi, Dr. Tomoe.
