Yeeeah I know that feel. The best part is when you outright have to brake real fast cuz you're on a single lane track and another car is coming right around the corner that you didn't see coming. I swear Italian drivers live a harsh life.
Austrian! Curse you and your curvy streets :v Anytime me and my family went on vacation to Italy, we had to drive real slow so we wouldn't get sick.
Austrian actually, but close enough ^^ And yeah 07th Expansion does this thing where characters reappear in very different roles. Rose Guns Days also has a lookalike of the main character of Umineko, and you can see the "inspiration" but he's an American armyman and pretty scummy to boot. Ryukishi (writer of the series) has fun playing around with his characters like that.
Good thing it's been so long since I last watched the anime. I barely remember anything anymore. Except for how confused I was that Rika and I think another character from Higurashi seemed to appear in Umineko, too, but as somewhat different characters. o_O *still confused by that* On a different note, do you happen to be german as well?
Yeah the VN is a lot more clear. It's still rather esoteric at times, but it's far more enjoyable both on the surface level and on the deeper level. I do highly recommend starting from scratch though as frankly the anime was more concerned with giving something cool to look at than something that communicates a story and ideas and makes internal sense
Oh hey, I happened to see your post in the fourth wall thread just now. Is Umineko's VN easier to follow than the anime? I watched it a few years ago since I loved Higurashi (both the anime and the VN) but I found it really confusing.
High five ^^
Well that makes two of us, I suppose.
Foolish and a bit too outspoken is probably more like it...
You're a courageous one
